Every October, artists all over the world take on the Inktober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month.
I tried it last year and am planning on doing it again this year, 2019. My 2019 drawings will appear below...
This year I'm experimenting. After the first two drawings I see that I'm using a style that I've used on and off over the last 50 years or so. I'm watching to see where it goes.

I like to paint and draw everyday things that I find interesting: Things that we see day after day that lose their individuality and become part of the environment.
I am drawn to cooking, gardens and peaceful things such as newly germinated seeds, particularly good tasting food (pizzas), things that have multiple straight lines, and the patterns I see everywhere.
I paint in themes so I can explore the theme and all its manifestations. This year I'm painting (and grilling) pizzas.
